Richard is a former Internal Revenue Service Tax Court Trial Attorney, Appeals Officer, and Revenue Agent. After 15 years of IRS experience, he started his private law practice in 1986. His practice consists primarily of representing clients in civil and criminal tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service, the New Jersey Division of Taxation, and the New York State Department of Taxation. He also has extensive experience in the related areas of wills, estate planning, and probate.

Most cases are resolved without the need for litigation. However, when the IRS assumes an unreasonable position, Richard C. Antonelli has successfully litigated cases in the US Tax Court and District Court and may be able to do the same for you.
